I know there are students who has been working on their proposals for the last 3, 4 semesters... but their SVs dont want to accept "the good and complete enough" proposal until it's absolutely "perfect". Some even.. have lost their count - who care ?
It can be understood what is behind the SVs' mind... but on the other hand other students.. their friends... could have written or at the final stage of their thesis submission...so... are the SVs' perfectionism WORTHWHILE? Can proposal be that perfect?
Striving for perfection and details should be emphasised on preparing the thesis NOT the proposal...and by doing so (wait until the proposal is perfect... from the eyes of the SVs...) will hold you back from completing you PhD or master.... the perfection is also SOT - Submit On Time !
How many of U striving for proposal perfection... chasing after something that doesnt really sure yet... in the journey of completing your Master / PhD?
Proposal is just a BLUE PRINT... a SKELETON of your research.. and u are given only 20 MINUTES to defend it....thats all .. and some have to do it again and again !
