Tajuk 523: SV ketinggalan zaman? Tanyalah Beyonce atau Yuna...

Ada yang berpendapat….. "master atau PhD adalah pengalaman unik… setiap orang akan lalui proses yang berbeza…dengan stail SV yang berbeza…. jadi tak perlulah kecoh2….buatlah hal masing-masing….pandai2lah bawa diri...."

Sebelum aku respon pendapat tu… aku nak citer pasal Najwa dan Yuna….. dan Beyonce jugak...

Buang tebiat ker bro?

Bukan buang…. tambah tebiat lah…aku terfikir… kenapa Najwa dan Yuna terkehadapan dari penyanyi seangkatannya…. yang ramai dah tenggelam tak timbul2…

Nak kata cantik dan seksi macam Beyonce… Najwa tu sedang2 sahaja …..malah sopan bertudung…..Yuna pun bertudung tapi macam pakai baju renang muslimahpun ada......tal perlupun seksi2.....dan kalau suara pulak… baik Najwa atau Yuna….suara mereka taklah sampai key yang tinggi-tinggi… setinggi suara Alicia Keys !

Lom abis melalut ...ada lagi....kalau pandai menari dikatakan bonus... sebagai penyanyi.....macam Stacey … tapi samada Najwa atau Yuna, baik tok sah menari....lebih baik duduk jer diam2 macam orang main dam…sambil petik gitar…

Jadi Najwa dan Yuna ni tak ada X-FACTOR yang selama ini kononnya diperlukan utk jadi penyanyi berjaya iaitu RUPA dan SUARA.. dan bonus pandai menari. Malah 2 faktor ini dikatakan sebagai PAKEJ lengkap utk jadi penyanyi sejak zaman berzaman....tetapi tidak dimiliki oleh Najwa dan Yuna.

Abis apa gerangan yang menjadikan mereka popular dan bertahan sehingga kini? Najwa dan Yuna tu asalnya hanya nyanyi suka2 dalam Youtube ... bukannya masuk akademi nyanyian macam Malaysian idol.....tiba2 mereka KEBOOMM!!! 


Dari pemerhatian aku yang naive music ni…. X-Factor yang disebut di atas bukan lagi menjadi begitu crucial. X-factor yang sepatutnya mendapat tempat sekarang adalah “Technical Knowledge” atau aku ringkaskan sebagai TechKnow.  

Pada aku…..Najwa dan Yuna…. Tak ada pakej x-factor yang selama ini menjadi momokan utk jadi penyanyi berjaya iaitu RUPA yang cun melecun dan SUARA yang power mawer....tetapi.... mereka berdua mempunyai TechKnow.

TechKnow tu apa bro?

Bagi Najwa dan Yuna, mereka kuasai dua TechKnow iaitu tahu main gitar dan tahu baca nota musik. Dengan dua TechKnow ini, tambah sedikit bakat secukup rasa.....mereka mampu mencipta lagu sendiri.... sampai boleh menang award lagi....ngalah composer terkenal. Quality yang sama juga ada pada Aizat dan Ainan Tasneem.

Apa yang ko nak sampaikan ni bro…..analogi lagi ker ?

Ha ha.... aku kan analogist....aku nak sampaikan benda yang sama…. Calon PhD "tidak lagi boleh terlalu bergantung harap kepada X-faktor zaman berzaman bagi menyiapkan tesis iaitu (i) SV yang berjiwa "rakyat" dan (ii) Hardworking.

Abis kalau tu tak ada SV dan hardworking, mana boleh berjaya bro…

Aku tak kata tak boleh berjaya tapi "tidak boleh lagi terlalu bergantung..."  sebab setiap calon akan dapat seorang satu SV wpun cara supervision mereka adalah 1001 macam.

Hard working pulak? Kalau nak betul2 hardworking bukan dengan buat thesis…. kerja kat bendang atau noreh getah macam mak bapak aku …. tu baru hardworking !!

So X-factor untuk menjadi calon PhD yang berjaya kini dikuasai oleh TechKnow juga !

Bukankah semua calon PhD tu terpilih….. mestilah mereka ada knowledge !

Memang ler….. tapi ini knowledge dalam bidang kajian masing2 bukannya TechKnow untuk hasilkan tesis….

Tak faham lah bro….

TechKnow yang perlu dikuasai oleh calon PhD, tak kira siapa SV yang mereka dapat mesti (i.) kuasai software utk mencari dan mengurus ratusan journal dalam topic of interest (ii). kuasai software untuk analisis data (iii). kuasai software word processing

Apsal lak cam tu bro?

Ini kerana ketiga2 nya adalah TechKnow yang dulunya tidak ada…. sehingga sebahagian SV dan Prof yang otai sekarang ini yang menjadi calon PhD suatu masa dulu terpaksa bersandarkan kepada momokan “saya dulu hardwork" dan "ikut saja apa kata SV"..... supaya diwarisi oleh supervisee....

Sekarang ini bro…. jika ko kuasai software spt Mendeley.. EndNote, Zotero dll bagi mencari, mengurus, mengkategori ratusan artikel bagi memudahkan pembacaan dan analisis informasi dalam artikel tu…. ditambah dengan kuasai software analisis data seperti ATLAS.ti, SPSS AMOS, Smart PLS, NVivo, Winstep….. ko telah beberapa langkah kehadapan berbanding dengan calon2 yang hanya berdasarkan hardworking dan dengan harapan SV mereka berjiwa rakyat.

Kemahiran Najwa dan Yuna membaca note dan main gitar telah diterjemah dalam penghasilan lagu2 sempoi…. tapi catchy. Samalah spt calon PhD menguasai software yang aku sebut di atas…..kemudian menggunakan MS Word atau LaTex utk memulakan penulisan tesis secara sempoi dan artikel2 yang catchy !! 



Ini bukan backup singer aku....
Ini student master kelas akulah !

Aku bukan nak ko jadi mcm Najwa atau Yuna….. atau jadikan mereka tu idola ko… tapi keduanya adalah analogi penyanyi yang ada TechKnow …..yang menjadi trend setter kepada penyanyi lain….maka lebih2 lagilah ko sebagai calon PhD mesti menguasai TechKnow yang berkait dengan penghasilan tesis…. tak kira seunik mana sekalipun tajuk mahupun bidang kajian ko… atau secanggih manapun nasihat dan tunjuk ajar SV ko… penguasaan TechKnow kini menjadi semakin crucial….

Boleh tak ko buktikan skit bro..... 

Ko masih tak caya.... macam ni lah... semalam aku baca satu artikel pelajar yang membuat kajian concept map dan mind mapping. Baca punya baca aku dapati rujukannya sangat dangkal walaupun dah 2 tahun buat kajian. Dalam artikel tu ada tak sampaipun 10 rujukan sahaja. Akupun bukak Mendeley aku.... taip perkataan "Concept-map" dan buatlah literature search. Tak sampai 1 minit.... aku ulang....tak sampai 1 minit....1 minit bro..... berikut adalah rujukan yang aku dapat ....semua artikel ada tajuk "concept-map". Aku belum search lagi "mind-mapping"....
