Jadi Najwa dan Yuna ni tak ada X-FACTOR yang selama ini kononnya diperlukan utk jadi penyanyi berjaya iaitu RUPA dan SUARA.. dan bonus pandai menari. Malah 2 faktor ini dikatakan sebagai PAKEJ lengkap utk jadi penyanyi sejak zaman berzaman....tetapi tidak dimiliki oleh Najwa dan Yuna.
Abis apa gerangan yang menjadikan mereka popular dan bertahan sehingga kini? Najwa dan Yuna tu asalnya hanya nyanyi suka2 dalam Youtube ... bukannya masuk akademi nyanyian macam Malaysian idol.....tiba2 mereka KEBOOMM!!!
Dari pemerhatian aku yang naive music ni…. X-Factor yang disebut di atas bukan lagi menjadi begitu crucial. X-factor yang sepatutnya mendapat tempat sekarang adalah “Technical Knowledge” atau aku ringkaskan sebagai TechKnow.
Pada aku…..Najwa dan Yuna…. Tak ada pakej x-factor yang selama ini menjadi momokan utk jadi penyanyi berjaya iaitu RUPA yang cun melecun dan SUARA yang power mawer....tetapi.... mereka berdua mempunyai TechKnow.
TechKnow tu apa bro?
Bagi Najwa dan Yuna, mereka kuasai dua TechKnow iaitu tahu main gitar dan tahu baca nota musik. Dengan dua TechKnow ini, tambah sedikit bakat secukup rasa.....mereka mampu mencipta lagu sendiri.... sampai boleh menang award lagi....ngalah composer terkenal. Quality yang sama juga ada pada Aizat dan Ainan Tasneem.

Ha ha.... aku kan analogist....aku nak sampaikan benda yang sama…. Calon PhD "tidak lagi boleh terlalu bergantung harap kepada X-faktor zaman berzaman bagi menyiapkan tesis iaitu (i) SV yang berjiwa "rakyat" dan (ii) Hardworking.

Ini kerana ketiga2 nya adalah TechKnow yang dulunya tidak ada…. sehingga sebahagian SV dan Prof yang otai sekarang ini yang menjadi calon PhD suatu masa dulu terpaksa bersandarkan kepada momokan “saya dulu hardwork" dan "ikut saja apa kata SV"..... supaya diwarisi oleh supervisee....
Sekarang ini bro…. jika ko kuasai software spt Mendeley.. EndNote, Zotero dll bagi mencari, mengurus, mengkategori ratusan artikel bagi memudahkan pembacaan dan analisis informasi dalam artikel tu…. ditambah dengan kuasai software analisis data seperti ATLAS.ti, SPSS AMOS, Smart PLS, NVivo, Winstep….. ko telah beberapa langkah kehadapan berbanding dengan calon2 yang hanya berdasarkan hardworking dan dengan harapan SV mereka berjiwa rakyat.
Kemahiran Najwa dan Yuna membaca note dan main gitar telah diterjemah dalam penghasilan lagu2 sempoi…. tapi catchy. Samalah spt calon PhD menguasai software yang aku sebut di atas…..kemudian menggunakan MS Word atau LaTex utk memulakan penulisan tesis secara sempoi dan artikel2 yang catchy !!
