Byk kajian dijalankan bagi mengkaji keberkesanan sesuatu projek, produk, proses, program, model dll. Aku bukan pakar dalam program evaluation tetapi jika ada yang nak buat kajian, maybe ringkasan 5 approaches berikut boleh membantu mendapat pendekatan yang betul. Sila buat pembacaan lanjut.

1. Objectives-Oriented Evaluation Approaches
Concept: To determine the extent to which objectives were attained

2. Management-Oriented Evaluation Approaches
Concept: To inform decision makers about inputs, process and output of the program
Theories:
- Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP Model)
- UCLA
3. Consumer-Oriented Evaluation Approaches
Concept: Evaluation criteria and checklist which provide consumer with defensible results 
Theory:
- Scriven’s Concern and Checklist

4. Expertise-Oriented Evaluation Approaches
Concept: Professional judgement in the area of program being evaluated.
Theory: 
- Informal Professional Review System
- Ad Hoc Panel Reviews
- Funding Agency Review Panels
- Blue-Ribbon Panels

5. Participant-Oriented Evaluation Approaches
Concept: To portray the multiple needs, values and perspectives of program stake holder to make judgement about the value of the program 
Theory:
- Stake’s Countenance Framework
- Responsive Evaluation
- Naturalistic 
- Participatory
